Shaquille Mitchell
Shaquille Mitchell was born in Mississauga, Ontario and moved to Langley, British Columbia at 13 years old where he went on to attend and graduate from high school. Upon graduation, Shaquille enlisted into the Canadian Armed Forces in Oromocto, New Brunswick serving for three years. During his time in the military, Shaquille trained and partook in firefighting services and was a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
After completing his military service and moving back to Ontario, Shaquille applied and was admitted into York University where he obtained a four-year honours degree in Criminology. While studying Criminology, Shaquille worked part-time as a security guard at Billy Bishop Toronto Centre Airport (BBTCA) as part of the emergency response team.
In 2019, Shaquille was selected by PACT to be the recipient of the annual Craig Trowhill Coach Training Scholarship in partnership with Adler. Shaquille went on to complete the full training and practicum including 100 hours of supervised life coaching and is in the final stages of being certified as an Adler Trained Coach (ATC).
Upon graduation from Adler in 2021, Shaquille formally joined the PACT team and began coaching youth with the LifePlan Coaching program. Shaquille is currently also working as a Constable at Queens Park with the Legislative Protective Service.
