This opportunity combines a tuition scholarship for PACT’s four-day coach training program with consideration for contract coaching opportunities on the PACT LifePlan Coaching team.

Through the support of the Rotary International and Rotary Clubs of Toronto, PACT is offering a limited number of tuition scholarships for ICF-credentialed coaches who want to develop specialized trauma-informed skills and be considered for PACT’s LifePlan Coaching team.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
Candidates who are interested in applying for the Scholarship and joining the PACT coach team MUST demonstrate the following:

ICF credentialed

Toronto-based or available for weekly, in-person Toronto programming

Youth engagement experience
-
Be able and willing to commit to working with youth, weekly and in person, for a minimum of one year ​
The PACT Coach Commitment:

1-2 year minimum commitment as a PACT contractor

While coaching is paid at a competitive rate, there is a volunteer component that includes completing session documentation and notes

Attending monthly team meetings and case-sharing

Regular supervision and reflective practice sessions
-
Openness to complex emotional dynamics and trauma
-
Consistent presence; youth rely on you showing up
*Scholarship recipients will be asked to pay a $249 administrative fee

Eligibility requirements

About PACT LifePlan Coaching
​
LifePlan Coaching (LPC) is an early-intervention coaching program designed for youth facing significant barriers, ages 13–18. We support Grade 7 and 8 students experiencing challenges within the school environment, as well as youth referred through the justice system who are in repeat conflict with the law.
Coaches are compensated at a competitive rate for weekly coaching sessions, and there is an additional volunteer commitment related to such things as travel time, documentation and attending monthly coach meetings.
Other requirements, commitment, and compensation for PACT Coaches:

Be willing to travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area to meet clients in person and within the community; public transportation, mileage, and parking expenses will be covered

Attend occasional meetings with clients’ parents and other stakeholders

Document client progress in a secure database
-
Attend monthly virtual coach meetings, training sessions, and other professional-development activities
-
All prospective candidates must complete an interview and orientation, attend two team meetings, and obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check before being matched with a youth client.
