Meet Our Team

Mariel is an outdoor educator, artist, and activist. A graduate from OCAD University, she has a background in the fine arts and loves to bring her passion for creative expression into her work with land based practice. She believes that hands-on, environmental education is what children need in order to feel connected to themselves, their environments, and the world around them. Mariel is extremely passionate about learning to grow food, interacting with local plants, ecosystems, and learning how to communicate with animals and living beings. Mariel’s strengths are working with little people, being kind, encouraging sensitivity, supporting learning and growth in others.
